Hunlin Holler, Blackey, Buchanan County, Virginia

The Blankenship Family Cemetery is located in Knoxcreek, VA. Follow Rte 83 East from Grundy, VA towards the WV states line. Turn left on Rd. 643, follow until you come to 653, and turn left. Follow the dirt road up the mountain until you come to a fork and bare right. Suggest using a 4x4. The cemetery is at the top of the mountain (called Hunlin Holler) and is in good condition and well kept. Decoration for the Blankenship Family Cemetery is the 2nd Sunday in June, Annually.*All information is as it appear on each headstone.*Contributor makes all notes in parenthesis( ); Otherwise, information is as it is actually inscribed on each headstone or marker.
